Place your cart behind fences, in the middle of your yard, or any other location for collection

Overload your cart

Block the right of passage with overgrown tree limbs, power lines, vehicles, or other obstacles - trucks must be able to access the cart for collection

Place carts or out-of-cart items on cul-de-sacs, common areas, or in front of vacant property

Do not place items loose on the side of your cart. All garbage must be containerized
Curbside Collection: Dos and Dont's


Trash Collection:

Garbage and recycling must be contained for collection.

Cart lids must be closed; Carts with open lids will not be collected.

Carts should be at least 3 feet away from other objects.

Crews will collect a maximum of 6 cans or bags per collection day.

Leaf and lawn trimmings should be placed in bags and containers for collection, with brush, branches, and tree trimmings in bundles.​

​Brush, branches, and tree trimmings should not exceed 3ft. in length, 12 inches in diameter, or 40 pounds per item.

Household hazardous waste is not allowed in carts or at the curb.

Landscapers, arborists, and other tree maintenance or removal companies are responsible for debris removal. Residents who perform their tree maintenance or removal are responsible for debris removal services.

Only residential waste will be collected. Curbside services do not include commercial, demolition, remodeling, medical, or eviction waste.

Due to the environment in which the garbage cans are subjected to Waste Aid Systems is not responsible for loss or damage to personal cans.
