Frequently Asked Questions

What time of day do you pick up?

We start our routes very early in the mornings. Make sure you place your can at the curb the night before to avoid a missed pick up.

Where do I put my can?

Your can should be placed by the curb 3 feet away from any objects including another can.

What can I put in my can?

Household trash that is bagged is permitted to be inside your garbage can. Please avoid placing items that are not bagged, as those items tend to get stuck in the can and our drivers cannot always easily retrieve them. Loose items can also fall out of the can and end up in the streets of your neighborhood.

What items cannot be picked up?

Hazardous waste, batteries, chemical products, electronics, cell phones, tires, and paint are all items that cannot be picked up.

How do I get a can?

Please call 813-996-1457 to a request a 95 gallon trash cart. We also have recycling carts available. Cart rental fees do apply.

Which holidays are observed?

New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day

If your pickup day falls on one of these holidays we will pick up on your next pickup day. We will pick up all your extra trash on the following pickup day. All trash must be containerized in cans or bags.

What do I do with yard waste?

Loose yard waste such as grass clippings, mulch, and small clippings must be bagged and placed inside your can. Any larger yard waste items such as branches must be cut down to 3 feet or less, bundled, and tied.
